Dunedin: Mt Cargill View

View from the top of Mt Cargill over Otago Harbour to Otago Peninsula (location of many nice beaches and walks, the only mainland colony of albatross in the world and numerous yellow eyed penguins) and beyond to the Pacific Ocean. Port Chalmers (departure point for the first ever frozen lamb shipment and for various expeditions to the Antarctic) is the slightly built up area on this side of the harbour. Dunedin city (not shown) is further up the harbour to the right. Photo: Sally, December 2001.
