CHEMSEARCH is a commercial environmental and analytical laboratory operated by the University of Otago.
Its aims are:
to provide the general and business public of New Zealand and overseas with access to first-rate scientific services.
to provide University staff with avenues for enhancing the exposure and application of their work outside the University environment.
to enhance the training of chemistry graduates through experience in a fully commercial, registered consulting laboratory, and involvement in consulting activities.
CHEMSEARCH holds IANZ accreditation (ISO17025) for a large number of tests.
The laboratory is a member of the New Zealand Association of Consulting Laboratories, NZACL.
