Double Marsden success: Prof Brooker and Dr Stirling both awarded grants

The Chemistry Department did very well in the recent Marsden round, with both Professor Sally Brooker, "Designer spin crossover: towards nanoswitches, sensors and display", and Dr Claudine Stirling, "Global ocean anoxia during ancient 'greenhouse' climates: Prospects for a warming world", securing grants as principal investigators (2014-2016).
Associate Investigators on Sally's bid include Drs Carla Meledandri and Guy Jameson.
Associate Investigators on Claudine's proposal include Profs Hugh Jenkyns and Don Porcelli (University of Oxford), Dr Chris Moy (Geology, University of Otago) and Assoc. Prof. James Crampton (GNS Science and Victoria University).
