Visit by Nobel Laureate Professor Robert Grubbs

On Friday the 30th of September the students of the chemistry department packed in for lunch and a Q and A session with Nobel Laureate Professor Robert Grubbs.

The questions asked covered a wide range of topics, from Professor Grubbs’ pre-university life, to his love of hiking and the outdoors, to what it was like to win the Nobel Prize in Chemistry back in 2005.

Professor Grubbs is in New Zealand as the Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury and was in Dunedin to give a public lecture titled "Green chemistry and Catalysis"
